2007 Mazda 5 came into us with engine management light on and DPF light flashing. After replacing contaminated engine oil we carried out a full diagnostic ch 80k miles 2007 Cooper D R56 PSA engine. Owned and regularly serviced from new with no issues. DPF warning light just came on and stays on. iCarsoft plug in diagnosis showed glow plug/power supply/relay fault. 3 of 4 GP’s had failed! Replaced all 4 plugs. Fault cleared and rescan shows now no DPF fault. When a car is driven short distance every day, it counted as normal by Mazda that diesel gets mixed with the engine oil . What ever you do, like the oil and filter change and fill to the right level , you will still have to get the system reset by Mazda.
